Training in Development of Demand-driven Projects Fostering Civic Participation
To implement its mission Europe Foundation (EPF) conducts not only operating programs but also grant-making, therefore the Foundation is interested to support demand-driven projects, which clearly reflect problem and ways of intervention and, at the same time, mainstream gender considerations within activities.
To support civil society organizations (CSOs) in planning effective and sustainable projects, focused on strengthening civic engagement, Europe Foundation organized a capacity development training – Development of Demand-driven Projects Fostering Civic Participation on May 1-2, 2017. The participants of the training included representatives of civil society organizations from Akhmeta, Rustavi, Tbilisi and Stepantsminda, who were selected after the review of their project applications submitted under EPF’s Open Door Program. During the training the participants went through theoretical aspects of development of demand-driven project concepts and also worked on problem/solution tree analysis. In near future, Europe Foundation will conduct similar training for CSO, operating in the West Georgia.
