Working Together toward Common Goal – Increasing Youth Participation in the Black Sea Region
On September 21 Europe Foundation hosted a regional thematic meeting – Working Together Towards Common Goal – Increasing Youth Participation in the Black Sea Region. The event brought together the representatives of the civil society organizations from Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Ireland, Serbia, Bosnia and Hertsogovina, Latvia and Poland, employing YouthBank methodology to contribute to increased youth volunteerism and civic participation in their communities.
The meeting was a follow up of the Black Sea NGO Forum 2016 and created a platform to facilitate experience sharing among participants, as well as to identify prevalent community problems and wage region-wide advocacy for addressing those problems using the YouthBank network.
The meeting was part of the follow-up activities of the 9th edition of the Black Sea NGO Forum organised by the Romanian NGDO Platform – FOND, with the financial support of the European Commission, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in partnership with UNDP Regional Center for Europe and Central Asia, and CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness – CPDE.
