Youth Integration Program Members Celebrated Completion of the Grant Cycle and Summarized the Achievements
Within the framework of its Youth Integration Program, EPF organized a three-day domestic networking workshop in Tskaltubo, enabling the Youth Bank members from 20 municipalities to summarize the results of and draw conclusions from the newly completed grant cycle. The event also provided networking and experience-sharing opportunity to the beneficiary youth. The representatives of Europe Foundation, USAID and SIDA also attended the workshop closing ceremony, and congratulated the Youth Bank members upon successful completion of the grant-cycle.
In the course of the 10th grant-cycle, the Youth Bank members conducted the information meetings in more than 250 schools; they were able to interest more than 1 200 peers, review over 400 youth project ideas, and fund 102 projects with EPF’s support. The funded initiatives varied and covered the issues around environment, human rights and gender equality, healthy lifestyle, access to education, etc. Alongside monitoring the funded initiatives, the Youth Bank members implemented numerous initiatives outside EPF’s financial support and were successful to secure additional financial or in-kind support from local authorities, educational resource centers, schools and business companies.
